SSI - Server Side includes.

Hi,

When I make a file test.shtml in my home directory, with a SSI in it it works fine (not in modx), but with modx freindly url’s set to .shtml they just print it as a quote.
How do I get modx to parse server side includes?

MODx does not work with SSI.

Sorry for being short on this one, if you’re needing to include common elements of HTML like a footer, you’d use chunks. If you need to include code that executes, you’d use PHP code in snippets. What’s the functionality you’re needing from SSI?

Because I got loads of errors with php includes.

This might be because my php is running as cgi so the relative links are different?

Are you using snippets at all?

I tried, and gave up creating a news system in modx. The basic blog tutorial on the website uses obsolete snippets
