im on modx for the first time since a few hours and very impressed by the ease of the installation and all the out of the box features.
theres one thing though:
i’ve been torturing myself trying to use the edit function(s), backend and frontend, to be able see the test edits that i made in the frontpage of the demo installation.
to my great embarrassment, i cant say i overcame this one first hurdle so far.
after editing the demo content of the front page content and pressing save, invariably a blank page appears, no matter if I choose to ’continue editing’ in the options. and the page i tried to edit exibits the same stuff as before.
attempts to use front end editing also lead to a blank page (inside the popup). No matter what i do, the same default demo content keeps reappearing on the front page.
im acessing as admin.
ive reapage i tired td the documentation and I tried clearing cache, to no avail.
Ive tried about twenty times now....
apparently im missing a point about permissions ?
could someone get me back on the fun track, please ?

(ah, i DID manage to add a post to the blog without problems, if that supplies any clues)
