how to change template

hi can someone tell me in wich folder i must upload downloaded template and how later set it to my web page thx for help

Read the first two sections to understand MODx, then the third section which starts off with templates for MODx.

In MODx, templates have to be created in the Manager rather than uploaded (you can uploade a file anywhere and then "include" it in the template you create in the Manager if you want, though).
