I recently designed another modx site. I designed it on my local development server, and then redid the whole site on my reseller account through Hostgator. The method I used was a real pain, and I am hoping there is an easier way. Are their certain files that I can just copy over so I don’t have to re due everything. In other words, what techniques do you guys use when you migrate MODx sites over form a development server to a production server? I am still very new to MODx, and I am not real familiar with the guts of the cms.
I know I could just directly build the site on my Hostgator account and save a lot of time, but the last time I did this my internet connection went down for a few hours and really screwed my time line up.
