User priviledge possibilities

I’m relay new about MOdx so I’m not sure is this the right place to ask this question but I want to know is it possible to menage page content depending of user privilege ( user is a member of some group)

So : On my page I have some form or news section and this should be visible only to this users that belong to some special group?
Is it possible or I have to make my snippet or chunk for that ?

yes, that’s possible, both for visitors and for administrators. You simply assign manager users and web users to the document groups you like them to be able to edit/see. No need for any programming.
