Hi
I’m new to ModX. I can’t find a simple overview of how best to manage images. I presume that I should upload them using the file manager, and then they will be available for me to insert from within the WYSIWYG editor. Two questions:
1 Is that the right approach? The documentation seems to flip between ’file manager’ and ’resource manager’ in places
2 Whichever way I try to upload images, I get the message "This file type cannot be uploaded" - however, the file types attempted (gif, jpg, etc) are listed in both ’Tools/config/interface&features/uploadable Image Types’ and ’Tools/config/file manager/uploadable file Types’
I’m running modx 0.9.6, apache/mysql and locally firefox 2.0.0.4 on Mac OX 10.4.9.
Any help greatly appreciated. I’m sure it’s something very simple but I’m completely stuck
