Can I change the order TV’s are displayed when editing a document? In the TV browser, they are sorted alphabetically, however in the document editor it appears to be a simple query without a sort parameter (f.e, not sorted on ID).

You can change the sortorder of the TV’s for a specific template, you can find it on Resources >> Templates, now select you template, select the TV tab and select the "Order TV’s" option.
