Newbie Simple Blog question

I have followed the directions to create a blog on my site however with no success. I created a new user and then logged in. Once logged in there should be an Add Blog Entry link that appears in the right side side section (under the Blog PAge link). I logged in all right but no blog link appears. I must be doing something wrong, no?

Did you call the snippet [[cached]] or [!non-cached!]? Try the non-cached version if not.
