    I’ve installed MODx on my development machine in the office, a PC running XP SP2:

    WAMP: 2.0.0
    Apache: Apache/1.3.31 (Win32) PHP/5.0.2
    MySql: 4.0.21-nt-max
    PHP: 5.0.2 (Details)
    PEAR: not installed
    www Documents: n:\htdocs\samplesites

    everything’s fine at the backend, but i’m getting an error when previewing the site:

    « MODx Parse Error »
    MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
    « PHP Parse Error »

    PHP error debug
    Error: Unknown: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
    Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
    File: n:\htdocs\samplesites\modx_cms\manager\includes\document.parser.class.inc.php(724) : eval()’d code
    Line: 70

    anyone got any thoughts on why that might be?
    • Looks like a snippet or a plugin can’t find its files. Try disabling or deleting the template switcher plugin to start with; that doesn’t work too well anyway and won’t be included in future releases.
