Renaming Resource Groups?

Is it possible to rename Resource Groups in the manager? I’m under Security --> Resource Groups, and when I right-click any existing resource group, the only options I get are "Create Resource Group" and "Remove Resource Group". Shouldn’t there be an option to update or rename the resource groups? Will I break anything if I do this via the database?

I think it would be a nice feature request.

I suspect that renaming them in the DB would be fine (unless you refer to them by name in any of your code -- e.g. isMember() or joinGroup() ). MODX probably handles them by ID.

Thanks. I already made the feature request. I can do the db edits, but the client can’t edit the db.

I guess a CMP to rename resource groups would be overkill.

Shaun already added this and it'll be in 2.2... whoops. I didn't see that issue before adding the feature request.
