Date formatting on TV Date output

Hi there,

I’m trying to format the output of a Date TV. I’m slightly confused (nothing unusual there...). I am aware that there is a Date formatting feature of PHP, but the output options of the Data TV doesn’t seem to bear any resemblence to it?

For example, see http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php. There is a nice list of the different letter your can use which represent different outputs of days, months and years. So if I used an uppercase ’D’, it should output the day (’Monday’ for example). But the output option by default uses an uppercase ’A’ for the day. None of the other letters seem to correlate either.

Why is this? And can I change it?!

Ok - I was being a bit daft.

Instead of using the Date function for PHP, its using the strftime function, which can be seen at http://php.net/manual/en/function.strftime.php.
