I want to embed an MP3 file in a webpage but when I use the insert option it says it is the wrong type of file. Is ther any simple way to do this.
I would appreciate any advice,
Many thanks
Eamonn
Are you having problems uploading the MP3 using the file upload in the manager?
Which version of MODx are you using? (Pre 2.0 Evolution or Post 2.0 Revolution)
Is the MP3 on your server or are you calling it from another domain?

Thank you very much for getting back to me.
I just took over this MODx Content Manager system from someone else in order to upload occasional text files to a website. I simply log in to the manager side of the site which brings me to the MODx CMS, and work from there, trying to make sense of it as I go along. I’ve had no trouble with text files but I have been sent an MP3 file by email and I thought it would be easy enough to upload using the manager and the "insert/edit embedded media" in the Resource content window.
I’m afraid I don’t know enough to answer your question about the server or the version of MODx.
Thanks again
