Fatal error: Call to a member function render()

I am sorry if this is NOT the forum I should post about this issue. I couldn’t find any other

I successfully installed MODx on my machine. It is the Development version of MODx ( the one from Git that also includes _build folder ). After I insert my username/pass I get the following error:



I tried to search for this specific error and I couldn’t find anything. I am using XAMPP for server emulation.

PhP - 5.3.6
MySQL - 5.0.7
Browser - I get this in both Chrome and Firefox

Any help would be appreciated.

[Update] - I tried to rename welcome.class.php and the dashboard loads fine and obviously complains about "Could not find action file at: C:/xampp/htdocs/revolution/manager/controllers/default/welcome.php"

I still don’t understand why welcome returns that error. I will just keep it disabled till I get an answer.

Grab the latest Git and re-run the build and setup again. There was an issue that was fixed in a most recent commit.

You were using the latest develop branch on Git, which is known to not always be stable, as it is in active development.
