Without imagemagick

    So if I dont have the php mod image magick, what exactly is lost? it seems like the CMS is still functioning.

      On some servers, this will cause issues with image thumbnails in the MODx.Browser.

        What is image magick , where can i find it ? I am starting to wonder if i have problems with the thumbnails cause of this.

          ImageMagick is a library that can process image files on the server side. The majority of hosts install it as standard. In MODX go to Reports>>System Info, click on 'phpinfo(): View' and have a look for '--with-magickwand=/usr' in the 'Configure Command' section. It should be installed if that appears.
