moving servers - can't log into manager

I’ve moved my site to another server and ran setup - some css files not loading, but I can load the unstyled frontend, so the DB connection is fine.

When attempting the manager, if I type in an incorrect password it says "The username or password you entered is incorrect." and refuses to log in. When I reset the password, I click on the hashed link, enter in the new password, I’m redirected to a default manager screen - no error message, just a standard login screen.

Any ideas why password reset isn’t working? I’m moving a 2.1.3-pl revo install.

I still have this issue, any clues anyone perchance?

I wonder if the two problems might be related... if the CSS files are not loading, that implies that perhaps your BASE_URL or SITE_URL is incorrect. How are the CSS files linked in your templates?

I would check all of the settings in /core/config/config.inc.php to start with.

Go through all the steps listed in http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Moving+Your+Site+to+a+New+Server. Pay special attention to the paths listed in your config.inc.php file and to the paths listed in the several config.core.php files:

/config.core.php
/connectors/config.core.php
/manager/config.core.php

Revo is a bit finicky when it comes to moving servers, and there are a lot of things to triple-check.
