Archivist and Multilingual sites

Hi everyone.

I have setup a multilingual site (russian and english) - the contexts switch with [[BabelLinks]] (Babel installed)

Here is the problem:

I created a news archive using [[Archivist]] following this tutorial:

http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Creating+a+Blog+in+MODx+Revolution and changing some stuff for my needs.

Clicking the month link in archivist f.e "July 2010" - shows the news list for July month. But when I click "En" for changing to english context it shows me the list of archive news instead of July month. What I am trying to say is that:

Instead of showing http://46.162.3.130/assistance/en/archive/2011/07 I get http://46.162.3.130/assistance/en/archive/

Here is the Archivist’s call in my russian template:

where `43`- id of news archive container `5,7,9` - news containers . In the english template this id’s change respectively.

Can anyone help me with this? I really need to get it working untill tomorrow. Thanks for any reply.

Your silence is killing me guys, I really need some help please...

I just tested your problem on one of my multilanguage sites and I am also getting the same thing. Archivist does not know which month and just shows a list of entries after you switch languages. Anyone have a solution for this?

The problem is that on your archives pages, the Archivist plugin forwards you to the Archives resource page without the extra 2011/07, since that itself isn’t a real resource and fires the onPageNotFound event. You may want to try appending [[+arc_year]] and [[+arc_month]] to the babel link, and wrap it inside a statement to make sure it is not empty.

E.g. append something like this to the end of your link in the babel link tpl.

[[!+arc_year:isnot=``:then=`[[!+arc_year]]/[[!+arc_month]]`:else=``]]

Ok I will try it today and reply if any success.
