    Hi, I have this problem with Modx on PHP version 5.3.

    Whenever I saved every Document, Snippet, Element, on Modx the editor adds the escape slash \\\\ in every link object. :’(

    Anyone have the solutions ?

    I’ve read many guide and post, it’s possible to solved that problem disabling PHP parameter magic_quotes_gpc, but it’s possible only when the provider allows the modify on this parameter.

    Exist another way ? huh

    Thank’s a lot smiley

    Example of this problem:

    <a href=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"assets/images/image.jpg\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" target=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"_blank\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">

    <p align=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"left\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" style=\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"font-family: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; line-height: normal; color: #000000; word-spacing: 2px; letter-spacing: 1px\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\">

      You’ll need to discuss this with your web hosting provider to get it disabled at the server. I’m not aware of another way to work around the problem.

        You may be able to put a php.ini file in the manager folder with just this line
        magic_quotes_gpc = Off

            A new version of MODX will not fix the requirement to turn off Magic Quotes GPC at the server level unfortunately.
