    Hi,

    I just managed to get my website on a modx system but testing for a few weeks now, the website is soo slow..

    It’s a small website, with wayfinder menu’s, couple of chunks, and nothing more.. how is it possible that the sites takes 2 seconds - 3 seconds to load?

    thanks!

      You’ll need to provide more information about your server, your templates, the way you’re calling snippets, the plugins you’re running, etc. for starters.

        Hi,

        You’ll need to provide more information about your server, your templates, the way you’re calling snippets, the plugins you’re running, etc. for starters.

        the website is running on a dedicated server with openSUSE linux..

        Templates:

        <!DOCTYPE html PUBliC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
        <html xmlns="https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

        <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
        <base href="[[++site_url]]" /></base>
        <title>[[*pagetitle]]</title>
        <meta name="keywords" content="[[*introtext]]" />
        <meta name="description" content="[[*description]]" />
        <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/script/css/style.css" media="all"/>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="/script/js/jquery.min.js" ></script>
        <script type="text/javascript" src="/script/js/jquery-ui.custom.min.js"></script>
        [[$GA_NL?]]
        </head>
        <body>
        [[$Header NL?]]

        <div id="content-titel">
        <h1>[[*pagetitle]]</h1>
        <h2>[[*longtitle]]</h2>
        </div>

        <div id="content-sidebar" >
        [[!Wayfinder?
        &startId=`[[UltimateParent? &topLevel=`2`]]`
        &level=`2`
        &displayStart=`TRUE`
        &selfClass=`self`
        &hereClass=`active`
        &parentClass=`parent`
        &scheme=`full`
        &hideSubMenus=`TRUE`
        &outerTpl=`wfouter`
        &rowTpl=`wffirstlevel`
        &innerTpl=`wfinner`
        &innerRowTpl=`wfinnerrow`
        &startItemTpl=`wfstartitem`]]

        </div>

        <div id="breadcrumbs">[[Breadcrumbs]]</div>
        <div id="main-content">
        [[*content]]
        </div>

        <div id="container-footer">
        [[$Footer NL?]]
        </div>
        </body>
        </html>

        this templates is mostly used within the system...

        On these pages I don’t have special plugins..

          First, you shouldn’t need to call your Wayfinder un-cacheable. Anytime a Resource is added/changed/removed, the cache is cleared. That will increase performance immensely if that is on every page.
