    Hello,

I need to transfer a lot of documents from one MODx installation to another (both Evo 1.0.5). They are news documents with a certain parent id that should be copied from one site to the new one (relaunch development site). Both are on the same server/MySQL host and in one PhpMyAdmin.

What I thought of was doing something like that in PhpMyAdmin:

    INSERT INTO `db2`.`modx_site_content`
    SELECT *
    FROM `db1`.`modx_site_content`
    WHERE parent='123'

Didn’t give it a try yet, but two questions before I’m messing around:
    - how to increase the auto increment column id of db2 to create new document id’s instead of transferring the old ids into db2
    - will the WHERE clause work on selecting rows from db1?

I checked the MySQL reference but I’m not sure about the options and statements I may need.

Of course I’ll have to change template ids and so on, but this is the easier part.

Thanks a lot if anyone can help!
