I hate to beat a dead horse here, because I’ve been reading about 301 Redirects most of the day. I have also read the conversations here on this forum too, so my brain is pretty saturated at the moment. Not knowing ModX, will these lines of code redirect mydomain.com to mydomain.com/subfolder? I don’t know if I need to go through the old site and re-reference each old URL to a new URL, but have read that on this forum. I do know that the ModX site uses SEO-friendly links if that helps. Also, from what I’m reading, these lines of code should be added at the TOP of the .htaccess file. True statement? I’ll be moving this site tomorrow morning, so any help that’s out there on this pre-holiday weekend is greatly appreciated!
