Modx suitable for a 1000 users website

Hi there,

I’m considering migrating a web site to modx, the current website has a lot of tools built by us and uses a third party ajax component called Sigma Grid ( http://www.sigmawidgets.com/products/sigma_grid2/ ).

We do have around 1,000 users but in peak times maximum 300 of them are logged in.

We neither have huge amount of content (maybe around 200 pages) nor the content gets changed on a daily basis.

We want to be able to reuse a lot of our code which consists of a lot of PHP5 classes

We heavely use jQuery and ajax

Does anyone see any issues with migrating our web site to this plattform?

No obvious problems I can see; sounds like it would be a perfect job for MODx.
