301 from old to new URL with htaccess is getting "?q=" parameter

hi everyone

i need some support related to 301 redirects i have configured in htaccess
so, basically a new website has been built with new URL structure and I needed the old ones to be redirected

the command in htaccess looks like this:

redirect 301 /old/old_file.html http://www.domain.com/new/new-file.html
redirect 301 /olddoc/old_doc.pdf http://www.domain.com/newdoc/new-doc.pdf
redirect 301 /olddoc/old_doc01.pdf http://www.domain.com/new/new-doc01.html

As a result, I get a 404 page with the URL like this:
for 1st ex listed above: http://www.domain.com/new/new-file.html?q=old_file.html

so basically the "?q=old_file.html" gets added to the end of the URL and results in a 404 page

I tried even using the Redirector component but it resulted in same

I am using MODX Revo 2.08

anyone has any idea, suggestions, anything I could solve this problem?
