Anyone know of a clan plugin for modx? What i’m after is A admin fills out a form with details about the match. On click submit it is then viewable on a page as well as stored in the database so it can be called at any time.
When I was trying to find plug-ins etc for WoW related project I came to find what Modx offers if you have the know-how is the capability to utilize modx to create that plug-in desired. As in word press like one click install plug-ins for gaming related sites etc there aren’t any directly designed with that intent. However this does not mean you couldn’t take a basic form and then customize to meet your desired needs.
So you may have to get your hands dirty with customization however creating a form in the nature you requested wouldn’t be to time consuming.
What you could do is set-up another section on your site require a log-in and then have them submit a news post with TV’s configured to change it from a news post style to a clan submission. So you would just need to manipulate some base templates. I am still a newbie but this would be the way I would approach a task like that. If someone else has a better suggestion I am sure they will make a post.
