Totally stupid problem but I’m just completely new to the whole CMS scene.

First of all my goal is to create product-details page template and update the same page with my resources as item descriptions.

So I made my template which is my already made site with a single [[*content]] tag to start.

And it works great when I hard coded the product-details.php file into my link for my details button for an item.

But now I want another item and cant quite figure out the system for linking up resources with my template? Dunno how else to explain it.

Thanks ahead of time for helping we with this, sorry for being a CMS noob.

      Figured it out! ModX rocks!

      WoooOOooo!

Another issue lies ahead now, trying to figure out the best way to submit some dropdown box info with the add to cart buttton. And then sumbit it again when they actually check out?

Maybe once I implement a shopping cart that kind of functionality comes with it? page is http://www.hairbarbiextensions.com/product-details.php?id=2

      Thanks ahead of time again!

Using MODx as a shopping application is not easy. That’s why there is VisionCart for Revo, and many MODx users integrate with something like FoxyCart for their ecommerce needs.

They’re active on the MODx forums, so you can be assured that it’s fully compatible with MODx and if you have problems they’ll respond. Their website is done with MODx.
