Restricting User Permissions to only have access to Gallery

Hi,

I haven’t yet wrapped my head around the whole Users and Permissions thing, I’ve found great help here in the forums, as on Bob’s site and Shaun’s video, that allowed me to set up a few of my users, but I just can’t setup my last and most basic user who only has access to the Gallery component.

Everything I’ve found up to now shows how to restrict Resources, Files and Elements but nothing on Components.

Is it possible to restrict a user to only have access to the Gallery component?

Sorry to drag this along, I kept trying to get this to work so I could post my findings for someone else who may have the same problem but for the life of me I just can’t get the components item in the users menu bar.

Is it even possible to do this?
