Running modx 1.0.4 on an apache server. Usually our normal url displays
http://mycompany.com displays in the
top url window and when you hover on a link on the page, displays on the bottom left url/link page display. After a couple of days if we visit the site the url displayed changes to
http://mcompanyinternational.com displays in both locations. If we go to modx manager and click on clear cache, the url immediately changes back to what it should be
http://mycompany.com as do all the link page urls. We do have mycompanyinternational.com registered as a domain but it isn’t used in any of the DNS records pointing to mycompany.com. My questions are, what could cause this to change every few days, how does clearing cache correct the problem and is this some sort of cache poisoning occuring from an external source? Has anybody expirenced this in the past?
