I’ve been following Shaun’s tutorial on how to set up ModX as a blog:
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Creating+a+Blog+in+MODx+Revolution. I’m following it pretty exactly, the only difference being that instead of using the site root I have a container resource for the blog, ID 2.
Having gone through copying and pasting the tutorial code and amending it as recommended to allow for my blog not being in the root it seems to be working pretty well, but the URLs to my posts are being written as if the documents are in the site root. eg: domain.com/document.html instead of domain.com/blog/category/document.html. These links still function and the correct pages are loaded, but I want the URL to reflect the structure the document is contained in. Have I just made a mistake somewhere or do I need to do extra work to get the URLs how I want them?
Edit: using Rev 2.1.0. No addition elements installed except those required by the tutorial.
