Children Inherit Template other than Parent

Thanks BobRay, although I think I have figured out the error in my approach. I was confusing the use of the Template field. The template should have been my default template as the document was being created and I needed to adjust the Default Value to then re-assign the template to the TemplateID that I was wanting.

Is there a list anywhere of available Constraint Fields?

AFAIK, any resource field can be used as a constraint field. See the list near the bottom of this page: http://bobsguides.com/revolution-objects.html

So, in this example I didn’t even have to set the Template only the Constraint Field, Constraint and the Default Value for template under modx-resource-settings.
