[Solved] Displaying Month and Year

I’m trying to display dates as something like "March 2009" but I cant figure out how to get the month to display the full year.. just numbers. Is there any way to do it?

Are you trying this in Ditto or in general? The date output is in unx time stamp and you need a support snippet to turn it into a human readable format. Look int he extras for formatDate ( http://modxcms.com/extras/package/156 ) or the dateTime ( http://modxcms.com/extras/package/88 )

In Ditto use the +date+ placeholder with the dateFormat and dateSource parameters. Or you can use PHx to format the date (in Ditto tpl or if you have PHx plugin installed)

got it to work with the PHX plugin and using %B for the month!
