After upgrading to MODx 2.1.1, the manager login is behaving most curiously. IN FIREFOX ONLY (v4) it takes my username and password, then returns the blank login form when I click "login." Note, this is NOT the incorrect password error screen - that still comes up normally when the wrong password is entered, but I am getting the starting blank login screen, as if I had just refreshed the page. Chrome, the only other browser I’ve tried, allows me to log in normally.

I have restarted Firefox, cleared the MODx cache, and cleared the Firefox cache. This Firefox can log into another MODx 2.1 sit I have on a different server with no problem.

MODx 2.1.1-pl Traditional, MySQL 5.1.49-3, PHP 5.3.3-7, Debian Linux

Sounds like you may have been logged into the manager in FF when you did the upgrade.

Log in with chrome and flush sessions and permissions ( under security ), then clear cache and cookies from FF and try logging in again

That was it, thanks. I think a great feature would be some kind of "idiot light" to remind the user if this step is neglected during the upgrade.
