Hi guys, just did the upgrade (forgot to empty cache beforehand)
Upgrade went without a hitch, no errors.
Site runs fine, all is well apart from one section of the site, which gives:

Fatal error: Call to a member function makeArray() on a non-object in /home/public_html/core/cache/includes/elements/modsnippet/22.include.cache.php on line 73

Tried clearing the cache folder manually, also tried un-caching the page in question, no joy. Snippets run cached on the page, tried setting them to uncached, no joy.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Uh oh, could this be due to removal of our lovely archaic
      DBAPI from core?

If so i remember reading about a plugin which could be downloaded for this use?
I really really really do not want to go through that extra layer of plugging external dbases into modx by way of following that complex tutorial. I am happy with my DBAPI! Lol.

Make sure to check that the cache directory is completely empty core->cache

          yup did that, no joy

its due to my snippet using $modx->query
Im currently changing the snippets to use normal PHP DB functions.
If anyone has any other way which doesnt involve me having to use another abstraction layer which is overly complicated please let me know by posting a small example in here?

I remember reading somewhere that DBAPI will be released as an addon. Any info on this anyone?

          Thanks
