how to only refresh document cache?

is it possible to modify MODx to only refresh the cache file of a changed document, instead of clearing the entire cache?

I don’t think so because some information relating to the document is stored in the main cache file, and not in the individual document cache file (for example, alias and content_type settings). So, in order to ensure that all the relevant cache information is refreshed for a particular document, a full cache refresh has to be done.
