    Hi.

I have a very small blog powered by modxcms. Since it’s small, i decided to upgrade, without hesitation, to ModX Revo 2.1.0-pl. Then I wrote a new post, published it. It was a crap so I unpublished it but it keeps on reverting back to being published.

Here’s what I did, so far, with the same results.

    1. Login/Logout
    2. Clear cache (modx and browser - Chrome)
    3. Use another browser Mozilla
    4. Change Published On & Published Date

That’s about all. I’m no programmer or anywhere near a capable coder. I’m just familiar with ModX for years of using it.

    Server Information:

    PHP Version 5.2.17
    Memory: 32M
    Apache: Apache/2.2.17 (EL)
    MySQL: 5.0.92

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Neil

    -----------Update------------

I can unpublish the document using the Resource Tree (Right click > Unpublish) and selecting "No" for "Published" under Home > Recent documents in the manager.

The problem does persists when unpublishing the document using the document editor. It seems to be a problem with the all checkboxes, except the "Empty Cache" option, of the document editor.

Did you delete the publish date?

Thanks for the suggestions, N!ce. But the problem persists. I will try re-installing ModX 2.1. I’m beginning to think this might be a bug but I’m on 5% sure. huh

Anyway, the problem seems to be that I can’t Uncheck any Checked "checkbox" on the editor once the document is saved. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling TinyMCE (enable/disable it, if that helps.)

I wanted to uncheck the "Hide from Menus" and the only way to do it successfully is going to PHPMyAdmin and manually changing the 1 to 0.

I updated to the latest 2.1.1 and that solved the problem.
