Resource URI already exists

    Hi all,

    When I reload the cache (modx 2.1.0) it gives an output:
    Resource URI demopage.html already exists for resource id = 203; skipping duplicate resource URI for resource id = 765

    What does this mean? I thought that the alias of reource id 203 and 765 where the same, but they are not...

      It means they have the same uri in the database now. Try resaving the top level parents of the Resources in question and it should fix the issue; I suspect they are blank for some reason.

        As of 2.1 there’s a new feature "Freeze URI" which can be found at the bottom of the settings tab, you can check the values in there.

          Hi,

          I was getting the same issue, the fix for me I just updated the "Resource Alias" field in your document. As I had duplicated several documents all of them were using the same "Resource Alias", so updating each resolved the issue.
