I have "Use Friendly URL alias path" turned on. But my images are showing up as relative urls, so I’m ending up with the following problem:
Example:
If the page is: www.mysite.com/pageA/pageB/pageC.html
Any images on that page get created as: src="assets/images/file.jpg" so it ends up looking for the image at: www.mysite.com/pageA/pageB/assets/images/file.jpg
How do I get it to put the forward slash in front of the source path so that it goes to the root, and not relative path?
I’m sure I’m missing something simple - but I can’t for the life of me figure it out!
And I’m using evolution 1.0.5

You should add this on your template(s):
<base href="[(site_url)]" />
or
<base href="[(site_url)]"></base>
depends on your DOCTYPE, before all any href link(s) of the HTML’s head tag.

hi
another solution is to go to tinyMCE config and set the urls as "rootrelative"
you’ll just have to open your pages once in the manager for the images urls to be corrected
