Template variable image linking 101 help please? (Resolved)

Hi all,
I seem to be having a problem in Revo 2.04 with something that in my mind, should be very simple. I am trying to link an image tv to a larger image tv. The syntax I am using (after trying tons of others) is below:

<a href="[[*floorplan_1_lg]]" /><img src="[[*floorplan_1]]]" /></a>

So, click on floorplan_1 image, should open a window with floorplan_1_lg image.

The tvs are setup as input image, output image.
I’ve tried output as urls, still not working.
I am only getting Can anyone tell me what I am overlooking? I’m sure its something simple and stupid, but I can’t get it.

on Revo, use the appropriate tag [[++site_url]]

I did try that as well, still didn’t work

This is what is in my code
<a href="[[++site_url]][[*floorplan_1_lg]]" /><img src="[[++site_url]][[*floorplan_1]]" /></a>

and this is the output (on the right side of the page)

try default as output-type, not image or url.
when using image as output-type modx will create the <img> - tag.

Oh, that output type worked! Thanks so much, I was losing my mind!
