I am having an issue with my homepage becoming a blank white screen. When I log in to the manager I can see the page. The only way to clear this is to set the homepage id to something other than 1 and un-publish the homepage, clear the site cache and republish and set the id back to 1.

This has happened several times in that last week. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
Thanks,

I believe it’s caused by a PHP fatal error. Check your apache’s error log.
