I’m baffled why there is no information here on backing up revo. Someone said it’s not in Revo cuz it’s just too basic.
Well, not for me. Assuming you had no db experience, how do you do it? Where do you even start. Just download all the files from the server?
I’ve spent hours looking but an too scared to try the disparate bit of info I’ve found.
Can someone say or direct me?

AMDBuilder has a good tutorial (
http://www.amdbuilder.net/articles/backup-modx.html) on it, running through the steps you need to backup your site. I logged into the Revo manager and was also surprised there is no internal backup tool like in Evo. Checked the extras and found this:
