Hi
I’m trying to install Revo 2.0.8 to a subfolder with friendly urls working.
So far I have done and checked the following:
enabled friendly urls
rename the htaccess and change RewriteBase to "/test/"
I have not enabled "use alias path"
Only thread Ive managed to find is
http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,59506.msg338565.html#msg338565
but no mention how to install to subfolder.
Can anyone help?

Did you copy the MODX files to the subfolder and run Setup?

Yes, I’ve built most of the site already and all is well apart from trying to get this friendly url to work.
If I preview the page using the regular non-friendly url alias eg :
http://working.local/test/index.php?id=2
It works.
The friendly url including the extension for the same page doesnt seem to work :
http://working.local/test/page1.html
Any more ideas?

Make sure every resource has an alias.
Try changing the rewrite base in .htaccess to just a slash: /
