Hi dear MODx community,
I have a strange issue which I can’t figure out.
When my site has been online for about half a day, it gets an HTTP 500 error until I go into modx manager and clears the cache.
The whole site is built upon the plugin Gallery. It seems likePHP only the pages listing images based upon their tag with this snippet call is affected:
[[!Gallery? &tag=`[[!fetchUrlParameter? ¶meterName=`emoticons`]]` &thumbTpl=`gifMainListItemTpl` ]]
the fetchUrlParameter snippet just fetches the GET value emoticons in the URL.
The start page seem to run just fine even when the cache collapses.
Do you have any idea why this error occur?

I would try upgrading to 2.0.8, or 2.1.0-pl, which should be out soon.
Yes, I will do that. It’s strange though, never had this problem before.
I also tried to make the Gallery snippet call catched
[[Gallery? &tag=`[[!fetchUrlParameter? ¶meterName=`emoticons`]]` &thumbTpl=`gifMainListItemTpl` ]]
No difference, the tags listing pages was dead when I woke up today.
I will try to un-check "Cacheable" for that resource, see if that helps. Until the new version comes out that hopefully fixes it...
