    I have an issue with a packaging. I followed the excellent Bob’s tutorial : http://bobsguides.com/mycomponent-tutorial.html
    I re-used the myComponent add-on to set up my own transport script.

    I would like provide, with the add-on, 2 images of a beachflag (image and shadow image) marker used on this demo: http://www.revo.wangba.fr/index.php?id=50

    The part of the script is the following:

    $hasAssets = true;

    ’source_assets’ => $root.’assets/components/’.PKG_NAME_LOWER,

    On my laptop the transport script run properly and the package is correctly installed under assets/components/gmaps/images/
    But on my server the folder gmaps/images/ is not created under assets/components (which already exists)
    I have set the folder permissions to 777 without more results.

    Any idea from where could come the differences ?

      You could try 755 if suPHP or suExec are installed on the server.

      Do you change anything here?

       if ($hasAssets) {
              $vehicle->resolve('file',array(
                  'source' => $sources['source_assets'],
                  'target' => "return MODX_ASSETS_PATH . 'components/';",
              ));
          }

        Nothing. In fact, the image has been correctly moved to the right folder. I don’t know why but filezilla didn’t show me the new tree. I need to logout and then login to see the file. A bit weird.
