Screenshots are pretty old there.
To move TV to tab, go to Template variables tab in your Form customization settings and change tab name in respective field.
You can find names of tabs here: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/FC-Resource#FC-Resource-AvailableTabs
I use russian version, so don’t think that attaching a screenshot will help you.

I did a small screencast some days ago involving Form Customization & moving TV to Tab. It might helps you http://modx-lab.com/FC-tv2tab.mp4 (keep in mind it’s done with Revo 2.1.0, some things might slightly differ)

What I want to do is move the TV from the tab to the main resource creation page. I am using MODX Revolution 2.1.0-rc1 (traditional)

Basically I have created a variable called Price I want to move that variable to Create/Edit Document

Then your target "tab" is modx-resource-settings

I am stuck on this screen. I am not to sure where I can put the TV price on the main tab Create/Edit Document

Here is a screen shot below

You should have said you are using Revo 2.1...

I did say that. Look at the rest of the conversation. Thanks for all the help. I am just stuck on that screen

Sorry, I missed that.
