Hi! I am working on a site that has a sidebar block on each page which can have different text in it page-by-page. So I am using a TV for the client to add their content. However, many pages will have one of three pre-set texts (various opening times) in the tv, so instead of having the client re-enter the same texts again and again, I was planning to give them choices from a @DOCUMENT selection. I am using @DOCUMENT, so that I can set up the three texts in separate resources, using the Rich Text editor, as the client may want to change their content at some stage and will need the styling features of TinyMCE.
However, the sidebar block can also contain completely unique text on individual pages which I can therefore not draw from an @DOCUMENT binding but rather from a rich text edit field. But I haven’t been able to figure out how to combine the two. Can anybody help??
you can add both TVs. And use phx like that when their names are sidebar_rte and sidebar_cb
[*sidebar_rte:isnot=``:then=`[*sidebar_rte*]`:else=`[*sidebar_cb*]`*]
this will show the rte-text if not empty, else it will show the checkbox-tv-output.
