Do you know how to create new users?
Do you know how to create Resource Groups and add resources to them in MODx Revolution?
Do you know how to associate Resource Groups with Users via Access Control?

If the answer to any of the above in "No"....its going to be very hard to get into any more detail.

Ok, suppose that I’ve create 2 users

Suppose that my resource are grouped by differents "Resources Group"

        user 1 (admin)
user 2 (content user ... that can’t publish, only insert/update items)

        Resource Group1:
        Home
        About
        Services

        Resource Group2:
        Products
        Contacts

        Now... what Can I do?

        Thanks

OK now I would create a new User Group called "Editor"
Right click on it and choose "update"
In the "Users" tab, add user2
In content access get this guy "mgr" context access to Content Editor.
In Resource Group Access give him access to your new resource group.

Now its a bit tricky here. Im not sure where the Access Policies are applied. Is this to the role/user? Anyone?

but... what do you obtain with this???

now user2 is an editor but when this changes an already published resource?? I want that this resource is set ad "not published" (because thi "editor" user has changed it)

            huh huh

Put your "already published resources" into a different resource group, and do not let user2 access them.
Again, you would probably need to be one of the core development team to figure out your setup....sorry. I am not a big fan of the User Management in Revo. Its confusing and tricky to figure out. I know its uber flexible, hence the changes made....but User Management Issues seem to result in the longests and most frustrating forum posts sad

                ??

but if I insert in "already published" my resource, this mean the user that need to modify resource (but not publish after changes) can’t access/show/modify this resource...

I need that user (edit user) can access to all resources but not publish if apply changes on a specific resource!

                Thanks
