Im wondering if it is possible to set something on a container so that any document you create under it has a pre-defined template as default.
Any assistance appreciated.
A Form Customization rule setting the default value of the template field and a constraint with parent and the ID of the parent folder would do it, though only for immediate children of the folder.
If you want to affect children at lower levels, you’d need a plugin.
There is an InheritParentTemplate extra but I’m not sure if it’s available for Revo.

Hi,
I got almost the same question regarding this issue, except I want to have multiple parent values all on the same level.
Restricted field: parent
And as values: 5,6,7, ....
Is there any way in doing this on 2.1.2pl or do I need to create a rule for each container?
Anybody an idea?
