Modx Revolution site wide default content type

Hi Guys,

I have set a content type with / as the extension to allow me to have nice clean URLs.

However when Im in the manager creating docs I have to set this as content type every time which is annoying.

Is there any way to set a default content type in Modx?

Hi Stuart,

I don’t believe so, but hopefully this will become a context setting in 2.1.

use the default content type: text/html and give it the "/" as value instead of .html

For now you cannot set another type to default. If you’d like to see that, file a bug in http://bugs.modx.com/projects/revo

Did a fix for this make it in to 2.1RC? I can’t seem to see a setting.
