I’m trying to debug a problem I’m having with phpthumbof, but I have two questions about the error log.
1)What exactly does the error log output? Is it only where errors occur or is it a list of commands being executed until the error occurs.
2)I have been changing the asset path in core/config/config.inc.php but in the error log the path remains the same. Do I need to clear the site cache or something for the change to occur?

It just shows errors.
There is a version of config.inc.php in the cache so, yes, you have to clear the cache after any changes.
