Cannot login to Manager panel

Hi!

Can anyone help, please? Cannot login into a Manager panel: I enter login and password and then I see a login form again without any messages. In DB I saw that sessions were created. If I enter incorrect login data, I get a login error message.

The site is blank - I just made a few setups, like site’s bkocking (making public frontend unavilable) and secure sessions - after that, when I logged out, it all started.

revert what you did one by one and see what causes the error. you did not block cookies? or disabled js?

No I didn’t.

I can’t revert - I cannot login 2 controls. If directly in DB only…

I just solved problem by reinstalling MODx as an update… Now I’m logging in normally. But I really want to know why was that…
For my mind it was connected with secure sessions and settings cache (but I can be mistaking — I’m new to MODx) — before reinstalling I switched off secure sessions and site’s unavailability (manually in DB) but nothing changed. Now site is available and session_cookie_secure is off.
