I’ve accidentally installed the wrong package on a client’s site and want to remove it completely from the package management screen. I’ve uninstalled the package and deleted it from the core/packages directory on the server, but it still shows up in the package management screen. Is there anyway to remove this?

If you select "Force Package Removal," it will uninstall anything that’s left and then remove the package.

I can’t believe I spent 2 hours trying to figure that out this morning...
Thanks guys, much appreciated.

Don’t feel bad. It was a while before I discovered it too.
Keep in mind that there are a number of interesting things you can do by right-clicking in Revolution.

Just installed Ace on a 2.2.8 site and it broke the manager. I confirmed it's bombing on the connector that minifies js. Now the question is how to deactivate Ace without Manager access (currently don't have phpmyadmin or ssh either)

Do you have FTP? You might be able to replace that connector with a php file that does nothing, or just returns its input unchanged.
You could also download the system settings cache file, change the compress_js setting to '', and upload it. If that makes the Manager work, you could change the real System Setting as soon as you're in.

Hi,
Old topic but...Right click doesn't work on Revo 2.5? Even force package removal doesn't help. Package is still showing on manager.
