Broken directresize package, is manual install possible?

System: Revolution 2.0.8-pl

I have tried to install the directresize-1.0.1-rc3-transport package but the download from the package manager fails. Attempts to download direct from http://modx.com/extras/package/directresizerevo?version=4d556ce3b2b083396d000e9f shows that the current version released on 25/10/2010 is 0kb. The previous version released on 22/09/2010 has the same version number and is 721kb so I think it will work. All other packages work fine.

Is there are way to install it manually without upsetting the package manager?



I tried to report the broken package through the "report" button on the website but I could not login with any of my browsers for some reason.

Hi,

I’ve been having similar problems, also it needed updating for 2.1.

A new version has just been released, but if you have an advanced install and moved the core directory you may still have problems.

I’ve been wanting to make a few improvements to the package and have setup the code on github
github.com/apcherry/directresize

There is now a transport package available for download - so if you want to try it, I’ve moved the settings to the property tab for the plugin rather than delving into the system settings.

If you try it then any feedback would be appreciated.
